- 200g paneer, cubed
- Alternative: tofu for a vegan version
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- Spices: garam masala, turmeric, red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cream (optional)
Cooking Steps
- Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in tomato puree and simmer until oil separates.
- Add spices and salt, mix well.
- Gently add paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Finish with cream and garnish with coriander leaves.
